Artists and performers have to come up with creative ways to grow and engage their communities. With this in mind, I was tasked to choose a performer and come up with a creative strategy to promote them.
Strategy
 
Music is very important to me, so naturally, I looked into the music industry for the perfect candidate to design for. One artist that stood out, in particular, was Origami Angel. This was because they were small enough to not have an established identity but large enough for me to gather information on. The band seems to value its communities a lot and goes out of its way to engage with them whenever it can. I took this value and made it the spearhead of my campaign. I wanted to come up with an event concept and create some assets/advertisements for it.
Summary
 
Origami Angel's Setlist Showdown is an event aimed to engage and strengthen the community of people who are already fans of the band. In doing so, Origami angel will improve its overall PR while gaining more dedication from its fans. I accomplish this by advertising directly to fans through Instagram. I also deployed a concert visualizer focused on nostalgia, cutting imagery that contrasts between the city and a childhood town to express the feeling of moving on and looking back at the good old days.
